Assuming your domain is example.com, you'll need to configure your POP3 or IMAP information as follows:
-
POP3/IMAP server: mail.example.com, port 110 for POP3 and 143 for IMAP
-
Username: [email protected] --> This is the email address you're configuring for.
-
Password: [your email password]
Your configure your SMTP (outgoing) server information as follows:
-
SMTP Server: mail.example.com
-
SMTP server requires authentication / Authentication Type: password
-
SMTP username: [email protected]
-
Password: [your email passsword]
-
Port: 25
If your ISP blocks port 25, you can use port 26 instead.
Note: port 587 is the canonical IETF-specified alternate; however, some ISPs block that port as well so we use a different port number.
